Join the Supervisor Network

The Supervisor Network

With-you’s Supervisor Network is a free, online community of practice for people who supervise, coordinate, manage, lead or support peer support and lived experience roles.

Peer support is rooted in mutuality, reciprocity, hope, choice and empowerment. We believe supervision for peer support roles should be grounded in those same values.

This network has been created to support the people who hold supervision responsibilities, helping them to feel more connected, more confident and better equipped to sustain meaningful supervision within their organisations.

Who is the network for?

The Supervisor Network is for professionals working in, alongside or around peer support and lived experience roles. This may include:

  • Peer support supervisors
  • Peer support coordinators
  • Peer support leads
  • Service managers
  • Lived experience leads
  • Anyone involved in developing, embedding or sustaining peer-based approaches

You may already be supervising peer support workers, supporting a growing peer workforce, developing a new peer support offer, or exploring how to embed lived experience roles safely and effectively.

Wherever you are in that journey, you are welcome.

What to expect

The network offers opportunities to:

  • Explore practical approaches to resilience-based supervision
  • Reflect on the complexities of supervising lived experience practitioners
  • Discuss challenges with others in similar roles
  • Share what is working across different organisations
  • Learn from real examples of peer support implementation
  • Consider how peer support can thrive through long-term planning and reflective practice
  • Access useful insights, resources and ideas
  • Connect with people who understand the unique opportunities and responsibilities of peer support supervision
  • Evidence continued CPD through participation

Why this network matters

Supervising peer support and lived experience roles can be deeply rewarding, but it can also bring unique questions and tensions. Peer supporters often work within systems that are still learning how to understand, value and sustain lived experience practice. This can create complexity for both practitioners and supervisors.

The Peer Support Supervisor Network exists because supervisors need support too.

It is a space to pause, reflect and think together about what good supervision looks like when it is aligned with the values of peer support. It is also a space to strengthen practice, build confidence and explore how organisations can create the conditions for peer support to flourish.
