With-you are proud to have partnered with Paragon Skills following three years of successful collaboration of the Peer Worker Apprenticeship, Level 3.
Throughout our partnership there have been great successes, and we would like to share and celebrate this important phase of implementation. With-you are committed to learning, development and progression pathways for peer-based and lived experience roles.
Spearheaded by our Co-director Marissa Lambert, the Peer Worker apprenticeship represents an important step forward in the expansion and career development for peer supporters.
The Peer Worker apprenticeship is another huge step forward within widening participation and social mobility; aligned with the opportunity to strive for clear progression routes from entry through to leadership. It is this ambition and belief that has enabled the trailblazer group to surrender the apprenticeship out into the world… with its first incarnation being co-developed and delivered across providers. This birthing is the foundation to build upon, capturing learning and influencing best practice.
Marissa Lambert, Trailblazer Lead
At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), the Peer Worker apprenticeship has been an important next step for Peer Workers and has provided more than a qualification – it has built the confidence, knowledge, and recognition for apprentices to grow in roles where lived experience makes a meaningful difference every day.
