Overview

At With-you Consultancy, we recognise the importance of development and progression at all levels, from entry to leadership positions. Building strong relationships, defining common values, and leveraging collective strengths are critical elements for achieving success.

Our quality assured Leadership & Influencing Training, through the AIM Quality Mark scheme, provides learners with an opportunity to reflect on their own values, experiences and ambitions, while developing the skills needed to influence and lead within peer-based approaches.

Why Peer Support: Leadership & Influencing Matters

Peer support has activist roots that highlight the power of lived experience to shape meaningful change. As lived experience roles continue to become increasingly embedded within health and social care, it is vital that the voice of peer supporters is recognised, valued, and empowered to influence at every level.

Yet, many Peer Support Workers face challenges such as:

    • Feeling unheard or undervalued compared with other professionals
    • Limited career progression routes
    • Stigma and discrimination within systems
    • Wellbeing challenges and the risk of isolation

This training provides a safe and supportive space to address these challenges directly. By developing leadership skills, building resilience, and strengthening networks, participants are supported to grow their influence while staying grounded in values of mutuality, authenticity, and co-production.
